Because of the open airy design, it makes an excellent fruit bowl, it helps keep your fruit fresh longer. It is oven, microwave and dishwasher safe, so you can wam or bake bread in the bowl. The dough will sink through, and make the pattern of the bowl on the bread, and stay warm at the table.
