I love sun flowers for every season, but especially for fall. If you are, or know a sunflower lover, you may have just discovered the perfect gift for them. This is a free formed coiled clay bowl. I loop the wet clay in a random pattern, then join it together where it touches. I hand cut the leaves to form the flower, and hand glaze it before dipping it in the background glaze. Its an excellent aerated fruit bowl, the air space will help keep fruit fresh longer. You can also warm or bake bread in the bowl. Spray the bowl with cooking spray, then let your dough rise and fill the bowl. Bake as normal. then flip it for serving. The bread will have the impression of the bowl and will stay warm at the table. At 350', it will stay warm for approx. 40 minutes. It also looks great hung on the wall for 3D wall decor. You can bring it down when you want to use it. I include heating and baking guidelines with your purchase. Dimensions are : 8 W X 3H.
