This bowl is made with a combination of techniques. I lay out the slab strips in an x pattern, then do the interior design of the bowl with coils. Its kind of like a puzzle, and it is a great looking piece. I hand brush a green and peach glaze together to get this color combo. It turns a turquoise shade where the colors overlap, very pretty look. This bowl is very decorative, and would be great as decor in any room. You can also use it as to warm or bake bread in the bowl, just coat it with cooking spray to use raw dough or frozen, let it rise and fill the bowl, then bake as normal, bread will have the design of the bowl imprinted on it, and at 350' will stay warm for about 40 minutes.
Excellent as an aerated fruit or veggie bowl to keep them fresh longer. Dimensions are: 9W X 4H. It is a handbuilt, pottery bowl which has been fired to over 2000', and is safe for dishwasher, microwave, regular oven at any temperature.
