I individually hand form the tiny sea turtles that perch on this pottery bowl. I braid the clay coils, then coil it , like a traditional coil pot. I hand paint the tiny turtles with a mix of emerald green and cobalt blue glaze. The bowl is fired to over 2000' and is all lead free glaze, so it is oven/micro/dishwasher safe. You can warm or actually bake bread in the bowl. It will take on the shape of the bowl, and will hold the heat at your table. just coat it with cooking spray if you want bake in the bowl.It is a beautiful accent piece for anywhere in your home. Dimensions are 13' diameter X 5H.
