This pottery bowl is made by looping the clay coils in a random pattern to form the design. Then I use a technique that is similar to welding ,to join the clay together wherever it touches. The oval shape makes it a perfect bowl for fruit, its big enough to hold bananas, and will keep the fruit fresh longer. It will also make a really interesting pattern on the bottom of the bread if you use raw dough or frozen dough, and bake it directly on your oven rack. It is safe at any temperature in your oven. It is also dishwasher, and microwave safe. The dimensions are: 12” in diameter, fanning out from a smaller base. 4 1/2 H.
